1. Open the Forecast Delta tab to review forecasted deal outcomes

  • Use the Forecast Delta tab to review deals by month, quarter, or year.

  • The purpose of this view is to help you understand what is actually likely to close.

  • It gives you a more detailed look at forecast accuracy across your pipeline.

2. Review the top-level Delta metrics

  • At the top of the tab, you’ll see:

    • The Delta

    • The Average Gap

    • The number of deals within that gap

  • These metrics give you a quick summary of how far apart the forecasts are overall.

3. Sort and inspect deals by forecast divergence

  • Deals are ranked by divergence between the Rep forecast and the Ricavi forecast.

  • Open any deal to see the gap in more detail.

  • This helps you quickly identify which deals need attention first.

4. Compare the Rep forecast against the Ricavi forecast

  • For each deal, you can see:

    • What the Rep believes the close probability is

    • What Ricavi predicts instead

  • Example:

    • Rep says the deal has a 90% chance to close

    • Recavi says it has a 5% chance

  • This comparison highlights major forecast disagreements.

5. Review the summary and reasoning behind the gap

  • If the Rep has overridden the forecast, you’ll see the Rep’s reason.

  • You’ll also see the Ricavi AI summary, which is based on the context available to the system.

  • This summary is meant to guide you on why the deal is scored the way it is.

6. Understand the forecast delta and deal risk

  • The system breaks down the difference between the Rep forecast and the Ricavi forecast.

  • Example:

    • Rep: 90% chance of close

    • Ricavi: 5% chance of close

    • Gap: 85%

  • A large gap indicates the deal is at risk and may need follow-up or re-evaluation.

7. Let Recavi improve as outcomes are recorded

  • Ricavi learns from your actual deal outcomes over time.

  • As deals close won or close lost, the scoring model becomes more accurate.

  • The system gets smarter specifically for your account by learning what patterns lead to wins versus losses.

8. Use chat to ask questions and move deals forward

  • At any time, you can use the chat drawer to ask questions about specific deals.

  • Use it to get help understanding deal context or next steps.

  • The goal is to help you move deals toward closed won.
